A catch-all feature that is activated for a given mailbox will allow you to receive emails that are sent to addresses that do not really exist. To state it differently, if you delete an email address and someone still sends a message to it, or to any mistyped address under the exact same domain, you will receive the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you won’t miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be crucial in case you are running some company, for instance. Since you may begin receiving unsolicited bulk messages, you can use the catch-all feature with anti-spam filters so as to receive only legitimate emails in your inbox. Only one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all e-mailbox without any difficulty if you have a hosting account with us. The Email Manager tool in our custom Hepsia hosting Control Panel is feature-laden, yet extremely simple to use, and it will permit you to enable different features, including the catch-all one, with only a couple of clicks of the mouse. All the mailboxes that you’ve got will be displayed in alphabetical order in this section and on the right-hand side of each one you will find a small "Catch-all" button. Clicking it once will activate the feature, clicking it twice will deactivate it. As you can have just one such mailbox per domain, our system will notify you if you already have another mailbox with this feature enabled or if you have activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

You’ll be able to configure a catch-all email address with no more than one click if you’ve got a semi-dedicated hosting service with our company and your emails are handled by our cloud platform. All the addresses that you create with any domain name hosted in the account will be enumerated in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a tiny "Catch-all" icon on its right-hand side, so all it will take to activate this feature will be to click that icon. In the same fashion you’ll be able to disable the feature, in case you do not need it any longer. Our system will inform you if you are trying to enable a second catch-all address for a given domain name or in case there is enabled email forwarding, but it will never disable or alter any feature automatically and without your consent.
