Ubuntu in VPS Servers
We offer Ubuntu with our Linux VPS servers and depending on what system requirements your web applications have, you can select the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of the Operating System with only a couple of mouse clicks throughout the registration process. When you get your server without a hosting Control Panel, the sole piece of software that will be set up on top of Ubuntu will be the Apache web server software, thus you are able to use a console to access the hosting server and to install a software environment that you choose. If you get your server with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you'll have a web interface with which you are able to manage almost everything as easily as you manage a regular shared account and all required MySQL, FTP and email server software are pre-installed, but the root access to your server will be limited. If you don't have a lot experience, or if you do not want to waste time on VPS supervision procedures, you'll be able to take advantage of our Managed Services upgrade, that includes weekly Ubuntu Operating System upgrades.
Ubuntu in Dedicated Servers
Ubuntu is one of the OS options that you will find on our registration page when you want to obtain one of our Linux dedicated service. We can install the 32-bit or the 64-bit version, in order to satisfy the system requirements of the apps that you wish to set up on the server. You can also select the software which will operate on your machine, as we will install only the Apache web server software, so all else can be tailor-made software that you choose. You are able to install the latter without any problems through a Secure Shell console, since you will get root-level access and you'll have full control over your hosting server. You can install a hosting Control Panel as well and manage some things using a graphical interface, as long as it can work on an Ubuntu-driven machine. To make things easier for you, we also supply a Managed Services upgrade, which, among other things, includes Operating System updates.
